Millie’s Kitchen was founded in 2010 by Millie Mitra, whose personal plant-based journey began in 1992 with the birth of her first daughter. Inspired by the purity of new life and a deep respect for nature, Millie immersed herself in Natural Hygiene and embraced a Whole Food Plant-Based lifestyle. She raised her daughters on this philosophy, instilling in them a love for conscious, wholesome eating.
As her children grew and navigated the world beyond home, Millie noticed their cravings for familiar dairy-based favourites—especially cheese. Driven to create a better alternative, she began experimenting in her kitchen. What started as a mother’s mission soon grew into a passionate pursuit of plant-based perfection.
