Pulin’s Cheese Toast

Pulin’s Cheese Toast

Pulin’s Cheese Toast conferred the title of P Toast is a hot favourite at our team meetings at MVC! It’s why we are sharing this recipe with you. Created by our magician home cook Pulin, using Millie’s Creamy Original Cheese spread this snack is made in a jiffy when hunger pangs strike.
Pulin is a genius conjuror of all things vegan in our kitchen and we will run more of his recipes here.

This P Toast is a cheese toast reimagined — rich, tangy, creamy, and completely plant-based. It’s crunchy base has a melt in your mouth luxurious topping made from Millie’s Creamy Original Cheese spread.

Once you’ve had this, you won’t stop at one!

Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 100 gm Millie’s Creamy Original Cheese Spread
  • 1 medium tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2–3 tbsp fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped jalapeños or 1 finely chopped green chili (your call on the heat!)
  • A pinch of pink salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Bread slices (your choice – sourdough, multigrain, or classic white all work beautifully)

    Optional toppings:
  • Finely chopped fresh spring onions
  • Chopped olives

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the chopped tomato, onion, coriander, and jalapeños or green chili to the Millie’s Creamy Original Spread.
  2. Season with pink salt and freshly ground black pepper. Mix well to form a smooth, chunky spread.
  3. Generously slather the mixture onto your bread slices.
  4. Place the slices in a preheated oven and bake until the bread is toasted and the cheesy topping turns lightly golden.
  5. Optional: Sprinkle some spring onions and olives on top for that extra burst of flavor.
  6. Serve hot — and enjoy every creamy, crunchy bite!

This recipe is proof that comfort food can be quick, wholesome, and plant-based — without ever compromising on flavour. So the next time you're eyeing that loaf of bread wondering what to do with it, remember to save this post — because this cheesy, toasty goodness is going to become a regular in your kitchen.
